B.Y.P. Server

Welcome to B.Y.P. server site. This page is still under construction.

The most recent software version

This page contains the version numbers used by the server B.Y.P. to make sure that every component (client and server) functions correctly.

Client:

• To run applications:

  • Flash player 5 player.

  • Browser Internet Explorer 5 (or more).

  • Netscape Navigator 6 (or more). Maybe it will function correctly with older versions, but I didn't try it.

• To develop programs:

  • You can use Flash Library V.2.0. contained in the zip file (download is available at the home page).

  • Macromedia Flash 5 (you can even use Macromedia Flash 4, but you won't be able to use all the features of this system).

Server:

• To run applications:

  • Server B.Y.P. version 2.1.

  • Python language V.2.0. from Python site (no Tcl/Tk support is needed). You can even use Active Python from ActiveState.
